WhatsApp AI is a multi-tenant SaaS product by JAKEX CORPORATION PRIVATE LIMITED that enables businesses to operate AI-powered customer chat on their own WhatsApp Business numbers, using the official WhatsApp Business Platform. This policy explains the personal data we process through WhatsApp AI and how we handle it.
2. Data we collect
- WhatsApp phone numbers (end customers and business owners)
- Message content (text, images, audio, video, documents) sent through the platform
- Message metadata (timestamps, delivery status, message IDs)
- WhatsApp profile names
- Business owner account info (name, email, password hash, business details)
3. Why we collect it
- To deliver AI-powered chatbot responses on behalf of the business
- To route messages between end customers and business owners
- To store conversation history so business owners can review past chats
- To send service notifications and confirmations
4. Sub-processors and third parties we share data with
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — for WhatsApp message delivery via the WhatsApp Business Platform.
- OpenAI — for AI processing of conversation content.
- Railway — for application hosting and data storage.
- The business owner whose WhatsApp number the end customer messaged.
5. How long we keep your data
Conversation data is retained for 90 days, or until the business owner deletes it, whichever comes first. Account data is retained as long as the account is active, plus 30 days after deletion.

8. Cross-border data transfer
Our servers may be located outside your country. By using this service you consent to your data being transferred and processed in those jurisdictions, in accordance with applicable law.

We process data in accordance with applicable laws including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), to the extent these apply to you.
