Delete your account & data

This page explains how to delete your Me and Masjid account and the data associated with it. Me and Masjid is published by JAKEX CORPORATION PRIVATE LIMITED (JAKEX Group).

You can delete your account directly inside the app:

1. Open the Me and Masjid app and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Open Account settings.
4. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account and associated personal data are removed from our active systems immediately upon confirmation.

If you can't access the app, email us from the phone number or address linked to your account and we'll delete your data for you:

Please include the phone number associated with your account so we can verify the request. We action verified requests within 30 days.

• Your profile (name, phone number, profile photo).
• Your prayer check-ins, streaks, and history.
• Your Quran reading/listening progress and bookmarks.
• Your friend connections and masjid memberships.
• Any badges and reward progress tied to your account.

After deletion we may retain a limited amount of information where required:

• Anonymous, aggregate data that no longer identifies you (e.g. a masjid's total check-in count) may be retained.
• Records we are required to keep to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent abuse — kept only as long as the law requires, then deleted.
